TACTICAL SEKT is the harsh-EBM/dark electro outfit originally formed as a side-project by Anthony Mather of legendary UK industrial act ASLAN FACTION. ¡ÆSyncope¡Ç is TACTICAL SEKT¡Çs seminal second full-length studio album, which reached #3 in the DAC (German Alternative Charts) on its original release in 2006/04.
Following the demise of ASLAN FACTION in 2003, TACTICAL SEKT released their debut album ¡ÆGeneticide¡Ç, followed later that year by the EP ¡ÆBurn Process¡Ç. The years 2004-2005 were spent touring and remixing acts such as PSYCLON NINE, SUICIDE COMMANDO, GRENDEL and FEINDFLUG: before the eventual release of TACTICAL SEKT¡Çs masterwork ¡ÆSyncope¡Ç came in 2006.
Lauded by press and fans alike as TACTICAL SEKT¡Çs finest and toughest work to date, ¡ÆSyncope¡Ç (the title refers to a loss of consciousness caused by a sudden reduction in blood to the brain) consists almost exclusively of non-stop killer dance tracks. In this respect, it is as relentless a dance album as GRENDEL¡Çs ¡ÆHarsh Generation¡Ç¡Äyet ¡ÆSyncope¡Ç offers a more diverse feel and variety of BPM.
